I do not believe that class environments are conducive to good foundation training
and that paying $100 an hour for private sessions is ridiculous! I teach thru private sessions only so that you may improve your knowledge and skills quickly. My rates are very fair and reasonable. Generally speaking it takes only two sessions to improve your relationship with your companion dog. Competition training of course takes longer depending on your goals. Once you have a firm grasp on the training techniques you may be invited to join in with Tuesday evening work group where you can further improve your skills and performance while working alongside other local handlers who train for competition in various venues. You will work alongside newer teams who are just starting out thru teams who have multible "High in Obedience" and "High in Trial" wins. The environment is both fun and productive as we work together to improve and proof our work. Show handling is also practiced at our working group with experienced and accomplished Sweeps Judges on site to assist you with your show handling needs. The working group is by invitation only. |
Many "dog trainers" have day jobs and train dogs on the side. Dog training is my life! I have my own dedicated training field and am fully equipped mobily. |
